The mission of the Visionary Foundation is to make its presence known by:

• Supporting and implementing programs providing focused educational experiences to encourage minority students to pursue careers in math, science, and computer technology.

• Assisting these students in the development of inquiry skills (evaluation, synthesis, etc.).

• Assisting the students in developing decision-making skills and good study habits.

• Providing a series of educational and social growth experiences that lead to the development of a positive self-concept, particularly as it relates to their ability to deal with challenging subject matter and peer pressure.

• Identifying and eliminating barriers to greater participation in the educational process by parents of at-risk students.
