Improving Classroom Application of Science

Educating educators regarding the history of minorities in the fields of science, math and technology helps provide role models in these fields. This workshop process then exposes students to the major sciences through practical applications and demonstrations highlighting the relevance of science in their everyday lives. This both educates and stimulates future career interests.

Fast-paced, hip-hop listening and learning teaching techniques are a new way of “seeing” math through the eyes of a child. This allows equal access to learning for all students (especially low-performing students) without pain or fear.

This high-energy, participatory workshop uses music, movement, and mnemonics to introduce and reinforce writing fundamentals. This helps parents and teachers level the playing field by motivating all students to actively improve their writing skills.
